Tattoo Ideas

here are the tattoos I already have:
  • a shamrock on my left wrist
  • a Heart Container from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild on the inside of my left arm
  • a simplified version of the Hierophant tarot card on my left shoulder
  • a blue diamond with the lyrics let the voice of love take you higher from JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable on my left shoulder
  • a purple star on my left shoulder, by my neck
  • a pastel ufo on my back
  • a phoenix on my right shoulder
  • the famous motorbike from Akira and the words louder than God's revolver and twice as shiny from Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys on my right shoulder
Pathologic tattoo ideas

Since staring to play Pathologic in February of 2020, this game has become incredbily important to me - perhaps evidenced by the background picture on my main page, which is a screenshot of the town in which the game takes place.

This poster (left) can be found on the theatre in Pathologic Classic HD and around the town in Pathologic 2. It depicts a one of the games metanarrative characters, known as a Tragedian, a sort of guide that offers the player hints and instructions in playing the game at the beginning. I intend to get this tattooed on the back of my right arm.

soom sigil

This sigil (right) is is part of the game's steppe language. According to the Pathologic wiki:

The "soom" sigil stands for "living emptiness." This is what the lull between two heartbeats is called.

I have considered getting this sigil tattooed over my heart, after I get top surgery - if I am able to get it. I'm not sure about it, though I've seen others get this tattoo before.

Silent Hill tattoo ideas

Silent Hill has been an important part of my life since 2010. It is one of the few media series I could properly call a special interest. I'm not sure why I love it so much, just that I have from the moment I heard of it. The only game I do not own is Shattered Memories, as I leant it to an ex-partner who never gave it back.

The first Silent Hill tattoo I intend to get is a fragment of Mary's letter to James from Silent Hill 2. The part where it says,

In my restless dreams, I see that town. Silent Hill.

I intend to get this quote on the inside of my right arm, perhaps in fancy script.

I'd also like to get one of the game's elaborate symbols, either the Seal of Metatron from the original Silent Hill or the Halo of the Sun from Silent Hill 3 (left).

I'd like to get some of Hozier's lyrics tattooed somewhere on my back, but I've been trying to decide on which song to choose from. I've been thinking of a line from "Jackie and Wilson",

We tried the world, good god it wasn't for us.

I'd also like to get a watercolor tattoo on my left arm, underneath my Hierophant tattoo. Perhaps flowers of some kind?
